Led Zeppelin-a-Day: "How Many More Times"

"How Many More Times", Led Zeppelin
Clocking in at over eight minutes, and refreshingly powerful throughout the entire number. With that hypnotic bolero rhythm throughout, bowed guitar, and scorching solos, "How Many More Times" is a highlight of the band's first record. Its never been an absolute favorite of mine, but I like it. Its quite momentous and cinematic, sultry in an overt way. Its wild and masterful, and need I say again how stunning it is for this to be a new band at the time? So perfect, so fit, so together. So early! I like the way its used in It Might Get Loud, hence the 'cinematic' note. I have no significant fondness of the track, which makes the admiration a bit less intense. Still, its a good one, there is no denying that.Source URL: https://jimhensons.blogspot.com/2010/02/led-zeppelin-day-many-more-times.html
